We had some friends of ours from Austin visiting this weekend, and we wanted to take them out
to do something very “Houston”. I also had a networking event for work scheduled on Saturday we decided to just bring them along! This event was at a local Houston brewery called St. Arnold’s Brewery- Texas’ Oldest and Largest Craft Brewery, named after the Patron Catholic Saint of Brewing. They have a huge beer hall in the brewery that they open up on Saturdays so people can come, hang out, and drink some beer!
We brought some tacos with us to the brewery for breakfast since we had to get there at 10am to beat the line which can easily grow to an hour wait or longer- it’s a popular destination! Some others in the group also ordered pizza delivery and brought Chik-Fil-A later in the day.
People played Jenga and “Cards Against Humanity”, but we stuck with a classic favorite- Hearts! <3
For $8, the brewery provides you with a 8 oz souvenir glass that you can take home. While at the brewery though, they give you four chips that are worth a beer each to fill up that cup. So drink up!
